Plastering and industry awards
GWN grew frrom a family business which began in the 1940's when lath and plaster was all the rage. GWN's current managing director, Gary Walsh has achieved numerous awards for plastering including the CITB plasterer of the year whilst attending Bolton College. Gary's brother, Lee Walsh, also achieved the prestigious 'British Gypsum plasterer of the year" whilst attending technical college in Lancashire.
We have worked on numerous prestigious and award winning projects. Our dedication to detail tied together with technical expertise means that we are the contractor of choice.
Gary Walsh heads GWN; the fact that the man at the top knows the industry so well and can still plaster a wall to perfection sets the bar very high! This expertise cascades down the organisation, all the way to our new apprentices who are just starting out as career tradesman.
All this success does not come about by chance. Projects are fairly priced and are completed with total professionalism, all within a timescale that suits the customer. We train all our tradesmen to be the best in their fields.
